Stanford Athletics 2016-17
As Graphic Designer for Stanford Athletics, I spearheaded its brand identity reboot in 2016 to unify our visual brand. I worked closely with other creative teams in our office to develop a cohesive look and feel and, prior to the start of the season, released a brand identity toolkit with guidelines, fonts, a library of graphic assets, and pre-populated templates.
One of my favorite parts of the process was drawing the set of custom icons, intended to evoke diagrams in playbooks and doodles drawn in the margins of students’ notebooks. Below are examples of these icons and other assets leveraged in marketing emails, social media graphics, and print collateral.
